We want you to be happy with what you buy from Eastall Software Systems Limited. This policy explains when refunds apply. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and does not limit any rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.
1. Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions (for example, Eastall Authentication or PinPoint plans) are billed in advance for each cycle. You may cancel at any time and will keep access until the end of the current paid period. We generally do not provide partial refunds for time remaining in a cycle, except where required by law or where a service has materially failed to perform.
2. Free trials
Where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being billed. Once a paid period begins, the subscription terms above apply.
3. Web hosting
New Eastall Cloud hosting plans may be eligible for a refund if you request one within 14 days of purchase and the plan is not the subject of an acceptable-use or abuse investigation. Renewals of an existing hosting plan are non-refundable once the new term has begun.
4. Domain registrations
Domain name registrations, renewals, and transfers are non-refundable once submitted. This is because domains are registered with third-party registries on your behalf and the cost is incurred immediately and cannot be reversed. Please double-check spelling before you buy.
5. How to request a refund
Email billing@eastall.software from the address on your account, with your order or invoice reference and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe, and can take several business days to appear.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of the related services while the dispute is investigated.
